My Stepdaughter has one of these however, it's over 10 years old. That's why we bought one. Her toaster works great, fast and even toasting. Ours is not as well made or as sturdy as hers. The darkness controls are a little sloppy and one side of the toast is always darker than the other. It does a nice job on bagels the sliced side nicely toasted and the outside warmed. Looks like a Maserati drives like a Fiat. I think the product quality has taken a nose dive since my stepdaughter's toaster manufactured 10 years ago. Like most things today this product was "Made In China". If I had to choose a toaster again it wouldn't be this one and hopefully made somewhere other than the orient.Customer Review: Don't bother!

After reading all of the reviews, I took a chance and ordered this product from Amazon. About the only positive thing that I can say is that Amazon delived the product as promised. However, the product itself was not as promised. I received the toaster on June 18th and am returning it on the June 20th! The temperature knobs are cheap plastic and have too much play when you want to set them to the right temperature and the toast toasted unevenly. Toast is not my life...However, charging this much $ for a poor product is a shame...Customer Review: Stylish, but that's all

I was excited to read all the glowing reviews of this toaster, but for me it was a serious disappointment.
Half of the elements don't work in each slot, so your toast comes out done on one side and white on the other.
It also tips forward any time you put the toast or lift levers down.
I'd send it back but my wife threw out the box. Definitely not recommended.

My family and myself love this toaster. I had been looking for one that was not too expensive but did what a toaster is supposed to do TOAST bread and bagels...and this one does it perfectly! I love this toaster, especially like the defrost and the bagel uses. great product, i recommend to anyone.
