Customer Review: Spectacular!!

When my beloved quartz Cuisinart toaster gave up the ghost after 20 years, I thought I would buy another, only to find no one makes a quartz toaster any longer -- only quartz toaster ovens. Wanted a toaster and started looking around.... The only 5-star toaster I found on Amazon was the T-Fal Avante -- these ratings were for the black color toaster. I didn't want a black toaster in my white-appliance kitchen, so I did a search for white toasters. Whoa!! The Avante comes in white! Very few toasters come in white, so I got lucky. We've been using this toaster for two weeks, now, and it is absolutely wonderful! It is fast, the unique angle makes seeing what your toast is doing very easy. The lift feature is fabulous -- no more burned pinkies! I will caution the readers that the light/dark setting goes up to 7, but a medium darkness is at 3, so start low. Also, read the manual on how to use the bagel and reheat settings, as they don't operate in the way I would have thought. The toaster is large, but strikingly beautiful! The only problem (and I really wouldn't call it that...) is that longer slices of bread need to go into the toaster at a slight angle, but toast perfectly in spite of this. Can't speak to longevity, yet, but am hoping to get many years of enjoyment from this beautiful and efficient appliance.

Update your kitchen with this 1200 Watt T-Fal Avante Deluxe 4 Slice High-Speed Toaster, attractively designed with a white body and stainless steel front and cool touch exterior. Four extra-wide self-adjusting toasting slots accommodate extra-thick bread slices, bagels and more. This toaster has a high-speed heating mechanism which toasts foods in less time than standard toasters. It also has lighted reheat and bagel functions and 7 browning levels. True to its name, the Avante High-Speed Toaster starts toasting almost immediately after pressing the lever. The angled front panel provides easy access to the toasting slots. There is also a separate "Hi-lift" lever which lets you grab smaller pieces of bread or pastry items without burning your fingers. If you notice your toast is done early, there is even a cancel button that lets you stop the toasting process at once.Toasters
