Customer Review: Foreman replacment

I bought this grill to replace my large foreman. So far so good. The best features are; it goes in the dishwasher, and it stores on end. This is a big advantage it takes little space in the cabinet. My only negitative is the cooking surface is small, much smaller than the Foreman.

T-FAL Fit 'N Clean Grill (White) - this is the only grill where you can remove the power source, separate the two grilling surfaces and put everything, except the power source, directly into the dishwasher. it is the only dishwasher safe hinged grill on the market. Features include: 12x8"cooking surface, 3 cooking positions - flat/open, closed/contact, elevated/broil-like position. All parts are removable & go into dishwasher for easy clean-up. Adjustable thermostat control heating elements of both Nonstick grill plates.With 1500 watts of heating power, this electric indoor grill features a large 12- by 8-inch nonstick cooking surface and three cooking positions. Use it in the flat, open grilling position to cook large quantities of food, in the elevated, broil-like position, or in the closed position to melt cheese or reheat foods. Meats and fish are obvious choices for this appliance, but grilled veggie sandwiches, veggie burgers, and tofu dogs work well too. The unit's adjustable thermostat controls the heating elements of both nonstick grill plates, while drip trays catch run-off fat for healthier cooking. The electric-cord eject button provides added convenience, and all parts are dishwasher safe. Simply remove the power source, separate the two grilling surfaces, and put everything, except the power source, directly into the dishwasher. The grill measures approximately 13 by 10 inches and carries a one-year limited warranty.
