T-Fal customer service not great. This item great. When I received it I found it wouldnt drain. The drain spout was not reaching the proper area. I called T-Fall they said contact Amazon. Well Amazon was out of them and T-fal was like it will take forever to send you a new one. So I just modified mine using the top of restraunt like ketchup bottle. Now it works like a champ. It is awesome to cook with clean oil every time. Very easy to clean and use.
On the down side I use it every other day... ish. So I do end up doing all my dishes more often....lol...Which I guess is only a down side for the lazy part of me. But I love this and cooking in clean oil is the best. Kudos to this revolutionary product. I would recommend for anyone that uses a deep fryer!
03/09/07 update: I have now noticed the loss of heat/power mentioned in other reviews. But I still like the innovation of the product. I just let it warm up a lil longer to make sure its ready. That has worked so far.

Frying food is fun, but clean-up is a hassle - until now. The T-FAL Ultimate EZ Clean Deep Fryer is the only fryer we could find that automatically filters, drains and stores the messy oil without touching it. After cooking, simply place the fryer on top of the oil container. When cooled, the oil automatically drains into the storage container - filtered and ready to use again. Everything except the heating base is dishwasher safe. A charcoal filter reduces cooking odors.Safety features include a cool to the touch exterior, locking cover, and external basket control to prevent splattering. Set the thermostat and a signal light indicates when the oil is ready. Holds 4 1/4 cups of oil, and 1 1/2 pounds of food. Timer available on this unit.Deep Fryers
