I have looked into buying a pressure canner for a few months and read lots of reviews. I knew that I didn't want to have to watch a dial pressure gauge for over an hour to make sure things were running smoothly. I purchased this pressure canner at a local big box store for about $65.
It has simple instructions inside (I hilighted the important parts - 3 quarts of water boiling, steps in order, etc) along with some recipes. I prepped my food, opened up the box, and was setting my timer to start processing within about 20 minutes. I now have some pints of pork put up for use later. I'm very happy with the simplicity of this product!
My first experience with pressure canning was great because of this product!
