This is the best fryer for cooking for small groups. It is not too large that it can not be taken on trips with you. I took mine on a fishing trip to Canada. Everyone was so impressed with the way it worked we purchased two more. Being an electric fryer there are no bulky propane tanks to cary around. Once the fryer reaches the desired temp. the thermostat keeps the oil just right. There are several temps. to choose from. There is a timer to fry your food perfect every time. The built in strainer and storage system for the used oil makes this fryer user friendly. No more picking up the fryer and draining the used oil into a jug. Just flip one lever and the filtering and storage of the oil is done. I have used mine for 4 years without any problems. Customer Review: Doesn't work after 1 month

I bought this fryer 1 month ago and loved it. It worked great. Then suddenly, it stopped working. The heater would no longer heat. It is only 1 month old. I have had to send back the part, at my expense, to have it looked at and replaced. Very dissapointed. I also didn't like that the lid isn't attached to anything. Whenever you remove the lid to get anything out, you have to place it on a towel or something to keep the oil and hot condensation from dripping everywhere. Again, not great. This Fryer is a breeze to clean-up after cooking and the cool down. I absolutely love it! I had to replace my last fryer (Cuisinart) because it stopped working in the middle of a fish fry! This Fryer is like a dream come true. Like most fryers, if you have a place to take it outside to use, do it. The smell of fried chicken is still lingering in my house after two days, from not following my own advice! I have used it a couple of times (since purchasing in July) to give an accurate review. I do not have any buyer remorse, only a smile on my face for purchasing a good model and brand. Customer Review: The best home fryer available

I used this item one time it worked good ONCE I followed all the insttructions religiously now it won't even turn on. I've tried other Emiril named items and they are of the same Quality Piece of SH**T
