This is the best fryer for cooking for small groups. It is not too large that it can not be taken on trips with you. I took mine on a fishing trip to Canada. Everyone was so impressed with the way it worked we purchased two more. Being an electric fryer there are no bulky propane tanks to cary around. Once the fryer reaches the desired temp. the thermostat keeps the oil just right. There are several temps. to choose from. There is a timer to fry your food perfect every time. The built in strainer and storage system for the used oil makes this fryer user friendly. No more picking up the fryer and draining the used oil into a jug. Just flip one lever and the filtering and storage of the oil is done. I have used mine for 4 years without any problems.
